There are 2 train stations in Avignon:

. Avignon TGV station : situated 6 km from the city center . Avignon CITY CENTRE station: a few steps from the city center of Avignon

. There is a regular train shuttle that runs every 15mn between the 2 stations

If you want to arrive right in AVIGNON city center:

. Make sure to buy a ticket for Avignon CITY CENTRE station . Therefore your ticket will include the train shuttle (that runs every 15mn from the TGV station to the CITY CENTRE)

You may also buy a ticket like in the example below:

. CDG Paris airport > Avignon TGV station . Followed by a train change from Avignon TGV station > Avignon CITY CENTRE station
