GOYOTES.COM 5 UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH DAKOTA GAME DAY INFORMATION CREDENTIALS/MEDIA OUTLETS All team and staff credential requests should be emailed to Dan Gaston, Sr. Associate AD, at [email protected] two weeks prior to the game. All Media requests should be forwarded to Bryan Boettcher at [email protected] or 605-658-5544.
TICKET/GATE OPERATIONS The DakotaDome gates open 1 hour prior to game time. The Visiting Team Player Guest Will Call is located at the main entrance of the Sanford Coyote Sports Center (baskeball arena). Per Missiouri Valley Football Conference policy, 200 complementary tickets will be provided to visiting teams. The pass list is due by noon on the day before the game and should be sent to Chris Kaufman at [email protected]. Please contact Chris for any additional question regarding tickets or ticket operations.
VISITING TEAM BUS PARKING South Dakota has parking available for 4 team buses on Dakota Street just west of the DakotaDome. Buses will be allowed to drop off and pick up the team at the service entrance on the Northwest side of the DakotaDome. During the game, buses will stage on the east side of Dakota Street. Dan Gaston will be available at the drop off location. If you need additional parking for cars, please indicate that on your questionnaire. Buses must arrive from the south on Dakota Street in order to be facing the correct direction. Please see map on page 14 for more details on bus parking.
VISITING TEAM EQUIPMENT TRUCK The visiting team equipment truck can drop off equipment and gear at the overhead door on the Northwest side of the DakotaDome (see map on page14). The truck may park on the east side of Dakota Street with the Team Buses.
VISITING TEAM LOCKER ROOM: The Visiting Team Locker Room is located on the East side of the DakotaDome. The locker room will be provided with 200 towels (delivered after halftime), four cases of Gatorade (20oz bottles), and taping tables in the hallway. Treatment modalities are available in the training room. Game programs will also be provided in the locker room. Any additional locker room requests should be noted on the visiting team questionnaire. Please Note: The visiting team may not leave equipment or gear in the locker room overnight. VISITING TEAM SIDELINE The visiting team will occupy the West sideline. Ice, water, cups, and towels will be provided by USD for your use on the sidelines during the game. The team will occupy the south side of the field for warm ups. The visiting team extended area for kickers, punters, and returners will be on the West sideline nearest your bench.
VISITING TEAM COACHES BOOTH The Visiting Team Coaches Booth is located just to the left of the southern most skybox in the DakotaDome.
COACHES HEADSETS There are six RJ-14 jacks available for the visiting team. For headset connection information please contact Gary Madsen at 605-658-5593.
6 GOYOTES.COM PRACTICE TIMES (WALK-THRU): The DakotaDome may be available for a walk-thru the day before your scheduled game. The practice time will be dependent on the DakotaDome schedule and will be limited to one hour. Contact David Milke at 605-658-5650 to make arrangements.
VISITING TEAM RADIO: Visiting Team Radio will be located on press row. Please contact Bryan Boettcher for additional information.
VISITING TEAM PRESS CONFERENCE: Interviews will take place outside of the visiting team locker room. Please contact Bryan Boettcher for additional information if needed.
VIDEO/FILM: Video Staff can film the wide shot from the East box on top of the press box and the tight shot from the catwalk situated above the north end zone. Please note all video personnel on the cat walk are required to wear a safety harness at all times. The video staff will check the harnesses out at the equipment room and be required to sign a waiver. Kyle Kittel can assist visiting team video on game day.
BALL PERSONS: The University of South Dakota will provide 4 ball persons for the games. There will be two on each sideline for the duration of the game.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: The University of South Dakota training staff will be available to assist you athletic trainers. The USD team doctor is available if services are needed as well. Treatment modalities are also available in the training room. Emergency Medical Service Unit will be on site and standing by should the need arise.
POST-GAME MEALS: Post-game meals can be coordinated with USD staff for delivery. SOUTH DAKOTA UNIFORM: USD uniform color will be red for all home games.
GAME BALL: Wilson GST Football - The visiting team is required to provide 5 games balls for competition.
