FARMERS’ CONGRESS REPORT February 17, 2016 Benito Soliven, Isabela

The registration started upon the arrival of the Provincial Government of Isabela Employee/Personnel and participants coming from the different Barangays of Benito Soliven, Isabela. The ENR Office opened the table for the distribution of seedlings, and to entertain some environmental issues and concerns of the constituents.

At around 9:00 AM, the program formally started with a simple prayer followed by the singing of the National Anthem and Isabela Hymn. Afterwhich, Hon. Benjamin E. Sanglay, DPA, Mayor of the municipality, delivered the Welcome & Opening Remarks. Then, Vice Governor Antonio T. Albano & Governor Faustino G. Dy, III, delivered their messages respectively. Subsequently, the continuation of extending technical support and assistance to the farmer recipients was ongoing.

The different BRO programs which aim to uplift the situation of our farmers were also discussed in the program by the respective representatives of each program. The program ended with the awarding of assistance to the different Barangays of Benito Soliven, Isabela.

The ENR Office was able to serve Three Hundred One (301) clientele from 27 over 29 Barangays and disposed a total of (301) assorted fruit bearing seedlings to wit:
