HHS in the KNOW Weekly Bulletin HHS IN THE KNOW Weekly Bulletin Week of February 4, 2019 STUDENT FEES - Second semester course fees, AP exam balances, and winter athletic fees have all been posted ​ to student accounts in Infinite Campus. Please check your student’s current account balance. There are two ways to pay fees: 1. Pay Online – You may pay online with a credit card through RevTrak by following the link on the homepage ​ of the Heritage website or clicking this link: http://littletonpublicschools.net/schools/heritage-high-school/making-payments 2. Check or Cash – If you are paying by check, please make check payable to HHS, include your student’s ​ name or ID number on the check, and mail it to Heritage High School, Attn: Bookkeeper, 1401 West Geddes Avenue, Littleton, CO 80120 or your student may drop a check or cash by the bookkeeping window. ​ ​ Please note: ❖ SENIORS: All outstanding fees and fines must be paid for seniors to receive caps and gowns and ​ participate in the graduation ceremony. ❖ ALL STUDENTS: ● Must have a balance less than $100 to attend prom ● Must pay all outstanding fees and fines to pick up their yearbooks ● If students have book fines on their accounts, please return the book(s) to the bookkeeper and the fines will be removed, minus a late charge. ● Certain fees can be waived if your family participates in the Free and Reduced Meal Program; please contact the bookkeeper for more information.     Audition Information 2016-2017 UNI has 5 Choral Ensembles: Concert Chorale, UNI Singers, Cantorei, Women's Chorus, and the Varsity Men's Glee Club. Choral auditions for all students new to UNI Choir ensembles will be held August 19-21 (Friday-Sunday) in PAC 30. (If necessary, Concert Chorale callbacks and additional auditions for UNI Singers will be held on Monday, August 22). All Music Majors with Voice as the Primary Instrument and/or Choral Education majors who have been accepted into the School of Music (BM, BME, and BA degrees) will be assigned an audition time. Assignments will be provided via email by August 12, 2016. Students unable to attend their assigned time due to required military duty or veteran status and legally mandated absences, such as jury duty, should contact Dr. Kotsonis by August 15 to reschedule their audition. Students who wish to reschedule for personal reasons (such as family weddings) should contact Dr. Kotsonis by August 17 to request a different audition time. Music Majors (voice) who do not participate in choral auditions will not be admitted into a large ensemble. Non Music Majors should can up for auditions by choosing the most convenient time available on Saturday or Sunday. Sign up sheets will be posted outside GBPAC 46 by Monday, August 15. There are separate audition procedures for varying choirs. Audition Process You will be required to choose one monologue from the list provided to perform. Please note the delivery time of a monologue may vary depending on your interpretation of the chosen piece. Usual estimated time is between three to eight minutes. So please make sure your monologue is within this time frame. You may be asked to deliver your chosen piece more than once. You will also be tested for improvisation skills. It is seen as a social construction rather than as a fixed category. As a result, women and men do not stick to one language style but change it based on their social context. Therefore, the researcher was interested in analyzing the women’s language used by a feminine man named Kurt Hummel in Glee Television Series Season 1. In conducting the research, a research question was formulated: What women’s language features does Kurt Hummel use in his speech in Glee Television Series Season 1? The research was qualitative research in which discourse analysis was employed to analyze the data.
