An adequate collection of interviews with Wilder and those who worked with him but, Nobodys Perfect: Billy Wilder: A Personal Biography, not very insightful. It feels like the author collected all of her notes, organized them by film, and created chapters for each. Not much strong writing to make it cohesive. I would have liked to have seen additional attention given to Wilder the screenwriter before he became a writer-director.
