2 | Annual Report 2016 – 17 Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Kerala

Foreword from the State President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Kerala

Aum Sri Sai Ram

Loving Sai Ram to all of you. May the infinite grace of Swami be with all of us forever.

When we look back to 2017 Swami blessed us to place a number of activities at the Divine Lotus Feet. 2017 was the year for “Going Inward and Reaching Out”. Under this, we could strengthen the personal Sadhana and community Sadhana. Seva activities multiplied. A number of programmes for the benefit of all were carried out. ‘Sai Agrivarsh’, Disaster Management Camps, Free Dialysis Project, SSSVIP etc. are only some of them. Under the outreach programmes, activities were organised for students, teachers, Parents, doctors, Lawyers etc.

Total adoption of the tribal colonies at Attappadi, is a real challenging work taken up by the organisation during 2017.

Under Sri Sathya Sai Vasthudhara Project, houses were built for the needy people.

Narayana Seva is extended to streets obeying Divine command that this should be at their door steps and not ours.

During 2017, there was Parthi Yathra by different groups. Youth, media etc. are some of them.

When we look forward, Swami has made the path so clear for each one of us. Yes, we pray to Him to hold our tiny hands and to be with us at every step.

Jai Sai Ram

Prof. E. Mukundan State President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Kerala

Sri. A. M. Prabhakaran State Vice President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Kerala

3 | Annual Report 2016 – 17 Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Kerala

Foreword from the Convener, Board of Trustees, Sri Sathya Sai Trust, Kerala

Aum Sri Sai Ram

It gives me immense pleasure to present the report of Sri Sathya Sai Trust, Kerala.

The Trust presently runs the Sri Sathya Sai Vidyapeeth School at Srisailam and Primary Health Centre at Shoranur in Kerala.

Sri Sathya Sai Vidyapeeth, Srisailam currently has over 1000 students enrolled in the school. The School curriculum has been designed to ensure values-driven education based on the principles and standards set by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

In keeping with the vision of Swami to provide free education, the school also provides free education to a number of students.

Primary Health Centre, Shoranur is headed by Dr. Anand Mohan and a total of 3148 patients were treated this year. The Primary Health Centre also has an Operation Theatre to conduct free Cataract Surgeries. 61 Cataract Surgeries were performed this year.

The Trust continues to work very closely with Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation to initiate and fund various projects.

The Kidney Dialysis Projects at Kollam and Trivandrum continues to function smoothly and a total of 472 patients were provided free dialysis during the year.

We shall endeavor to increase the scope of Charitable activities of the Trust to provide relief to the needy as envisaged by Bhagawan Baba.

G. Satheesh Nair Convener, Board of Trustees, Sri Sathya Sai Trust, Kerala
