It officially became a park in 1847 and was named Reservoir Square after the neighboring Croton Reservoir. Along the tops of the ~ 25 -foot wide walls were public promenades where Edgar Allan Poe enjoyed his walks. “delightfully bitter • a riff on an Alsatian classic” A remnant of the reservoir can still be seen today in the New York Public Library. 17 Bryant Park has been a respite of midtown Manhattan off and on for many years; this chapter of cocktails represent our welcoming reprieve for a weary day, intense commute, and an introduction to our offerings of libations.

We start with a classic cocktail and expand its definition. First, by deconstruction the cocktail is understood through a historical context, and then we open the floodgates of imagination to reach a decadent, vibrant, and sometimes delicate new understanding of imbibing. Much like Bryant Park, in making a stretch of land a beautiful and comforting experience, these cocktails are our take on classics that stretch possibility. GK Martini Monkey 47 Gin • Rosemary Vermouth • Yuzu olive oil ~ “the way a Martini should be” 19
