Michele De Lucchi Temples for Nature Sensibility towards our natural heritage has increased so much that it is now time to build Temples for Nature.

They are wonderful architectural objects, and like the ancient temples of past civilizations are built with the same grandeur and vision.

They are built to celebrate and experience nature in its most extreme forms where even the most convinced atheists will recognize the essence of divinity.

The new Temples are built to let you stay in absolute security and comfort, and are places to contemplate nature from your arrival, the evening sunset and the morning sunrise.

You sleep lulled by the sounds of nature, but it is not essential because in sleep the conscience disappears and is alerted and reactive in the moment of falling a sleep and that of awakening.

With the new digital platforms the choice of hotels is no longer just about service and price but is increasingly based on comparing the sensorial experiences that different environments can offer.

To ensure an intact landscape, you can only get there on foot or by air.

Drones deliver daily supplies to restaurants and hotel services.

The Temples for Nature are destinations in which to immerse yourself into the wonders of nature and celebrate the inherent sacredness of its most extraordinary manifestations. 1 The Polar Castle

The philosophy adopted by Michele De Lucchi’s studio, aMDL, seeks to maintain a steady interaction between architectural thinking, industrial design and global communication. This transverse approach is backed by Michele De Lucchi’s personal research and international ex- perience acquired through more than forty years’ work.

Founded in the early 1980s, the studio continues to evolve its original multicultural and multi- disciplinary origins, producing architecture and design for Italian and foreign institutes, public and private organizations, businesses and individuals. This work is based on close observations of all matters relating to contemporary society, advancing technologies and the importance of respecting our natural environment.

The present studio comprises some forty professionals from different cultural backgrounds and experiences who work in a flexible structure driven by constant teamwork. Its projects range from single products, to that of interiors, architecture and master plans, and are never confined to the visual aspects traditionally associated with design, but rather by contemplating every necessary step - from analysis to concept, from detailed development to realization through to the continued transformation for future scenarios.

Always at the forefront of the international cultural scene the studio in Milan’s central design district is organized as a creative workshop in an Art Nouveau building that was converted in 2006. At Angera, on Lake Maggiore, Michele De Lucchi has established his atelier-archive, where many architectural experiments start and where his works are documented and stored.

As proof of its constant search for excellence, the studio is certified ISO 9001:2015 for its archi- tectural, urban, interior and exhibition design.
