The residents of this community have provided a wealth of data which can be used to inform future decisions in the Parish. For example 90% of respondents agreed that open countryside should not be developed. Over 80% agreed that their village should not be expanded beyond its current boundary. 66% of respondents agreed that the A30 junction at Two Bridges is dangerous, but 65% do not wish to see the central reservation closed.

Lewannick Village Hall Monday 19th February at 3pm and 7pm The questionnaires were collected in early November and the return rates are higher than for the first questionnaire. 35% were returned from Lewannick Village, 31% from Trevadlock and 50% from Polyphant. The Parish Council decided in a private meeting in December to halt the NDP before the results of Q2 are published. Two weeks later a letter was received from the Parish Council: “We are writing to confirm, based on the evidence submitted, we are unable to move forward FurtherFu information can be found at with the Neighbourhood Development Plan.

We have written to Cornwall Council accordingly.” www.residents-who-care.co.ukw

This is the full content of the letter. We have queried “based on the evidence submitted”, but no reasons have been given for the decision. We have appealed to Cornwall Council for help but they say they are powerless to act.
