Bishop Richard B. Wilke, who served the Arkansas Conference of the United Methodist Church for 12 years. Wilke also is the author, along with his wife, Julia, of The Disciple Bible Study, a small-group study in a four-part series that has sold nearly 2 million copies around the world since it was introduced in 1987.
