Notification of the Ministry of Public Health Re: Prescription of Checkpoints for the Inspection of Medical Devices1

In the interest of controlling medical devices imported to the Kingdom or exported to other countries; By virtue of section 5 and section 6(17) of the Medical Device Act B.E. 2551 (2008), being a law withcertain provisions in relation to the restriction of rights and liberties of persons which section 29 in conjunction withsection 33, section 41, section 43 and section 45 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand so permit by virtue of law, the Minister of Public Health hereby issues a Notification to prescribe the following ports or places as medical device checkpoints:

1. Food and Drug Checkpoint, Suvarnabhumi Airport (Cargo Terminal), Samut Prakan Province. 2. Food and Drug Checkpoint, Suvarnabhumi Airport (International Passenger Terminal), Samut Prakan Province. 3. Food and Drug Checkpoint, Bangkok Port. 4. Food and Drug Checkpoint, Bangkok Airport. 5. Food and Drug Checkpoint, Terminal 2, Bangkok Airport. 6. Food and Drug Checkpoint, Cargo Terminal, Bangkok Airport. 7. Food and Drug Checkpoint, Bangkok Post Office. 8. Food and Drug Checkpoint, Lad Krabang Railway. 9. Food and Drug Checkpoint, Customs Laboratory Division, Customs Department. 10. Food and Drug Checkpoint, Private Port No. 10. 11.
