We, at Parish Outreach, believe, there should always be enough food in our Food Pantry shelves to serve “those who are in need”. We are grateful to the sixty or more parishioners who continually bring food to the weekend masses, to our “anonymous” parishioners who leave food at our Food Pantry door, to the Knights of Columbus who beg for us at supermarkets and to Long Island Cares and Island Harvest who supplement our needs with grants and donations. In light of our growing needs, St. Brigid Parish Outreach appeals to our greater “St. Brigid Family” to help us serve God’s poor--” by bringing one or two items of food” each week to help us provide for the needs of our Outreach fami- lies.

We Need Lots Of: Notebooks, composition books, assignment pads, looseleaf binders and lined 3-hole paper, pens, pen- cils, crayons and markers, highlighters, rulers and compasses, paper paste or glue sticks, construction paper, book bags or back packs, lunch-box snacks and juices.

If necessary, donations may be left at the Schaefer Center or given with your food donations at Mass on Sunday. May God bless you for your compassionate generosity of heart and spirit.
