2016-01-21 13:42 CET Take It On The Run - Ny singel med Last Autumn´s Dream! Mikael Erlandsson är en av de bästa sing&songwriters vi har i Sverige av idag. Förutom L.A.D. är han sedan 2006 frontman i den svenska supergruppen Secret Service på liveturnéer över hela världen. Efter fyra succéfyllda soloalbum kom hans japanska skivbolag tillsammans med XTC Productions upp med idén att koppla ihop honom med den fantastiske gitarristen Andy Malecek från det tyska hårdrockbandet Fair Warning för att göra ett albumprojekt. Mikael och Andy tände bägge på idén och ett album började planeras. Ian Haugland, Mic Michaeli and John Leven från Europe tillfrågades om de var intresserade av att medverka och med dem i ryggen föddes LAST AUTUMN'S DREAM! Eller kort och gott L.A.D.!!! Det självbetitlade debutalbum bestod av idel starka låtar typiska den Skandinaviska rockvärlden adderad med influenser från Fair Warning via Andys melodiska och speciella gitarrspel. Dessvärre förlorade bandet 3/5-delar av sina medlemmar på grund av Europes comeback. Så från det andra albumet ersattes de av stora musiker som bassisten Marcel Jacob, (Talisman) dessvärre tragiskt bortgången och numera ersatt av Nalle Påhlsson (Treat, Therion) trummisen Jamie Borger, (Talisman, Treat, Secret Service) och på keyboard Ulf Wahlberg (Secret Service) AndyMalecek beslöt dock på grund av personliga skäl att lämna bandet 2014 och är ersatt av Peter “Pac” Söderström, en genial gitarrist som medverkat som kompgitarrist på bandets tidigare album. Efter 11fantastiska album kommer nu album nummer 12, “Paintings”. Release i Japan december 2015 och i Europa februari 2016. Albumet bjuder på klassiska rockreferenser med starka låtar och ett modernt sound. I oktober 2015 gjorde L.A.D. stor succé live på Rock City Festival i Nottingham och har tidigare turnerat i Japan och Europa. L.A.D. är även tillgängliga för livespelningar. Dieses Stehvermögen braucht das Publikum, denn mit drei Bands stehen, abgesehen von den Umbaupausen, geschlagene drei Stunden Musik auf dem Programm Eröffnet wird der Abend von einer, mir bis dato, unbekannten Band. JOHN DIVA mit seinen 'Rockets of Love' geben sich die Ehre und präsentieren in dreißig Minuten eine beeindruckende musikalische und optische Darbietung unter dem Motto: „Mama said, Rock is dead". Frontman JOHN DIVA und seine Mannen turnen in extravagantem Outfit über die Bühne. Schön grell und bunt darf es sein und sieht man dazu DIVAS passenden Hüftschwung, weiß der Fan sofort, dass es hier nur um Sex, Drugs and Rock 'n' Roll geht. Ohne Zweifel, die Truppe ist gut und rockt auch richtig fett ab. Also, im Auge behalten. Ein gelungener Einstand in den heutigen Abend. Zu EUROPE muss man nicht viel sagen. JOEY TEMPEST ist in top Form und schmettert seine bekanntesten Songs in die Menge. Das Gedränge vor der Bühne wird größer und der Hype wächst mit jedem Song ihrer einstündigen Show. Leider fällt durch die Supporterstellung einiges unter den Tisch, aber Hits wie „Carrie", „Superstitius" und natürlich das abschließende "The Final Countdown" reißen wieder alles heraus.

Svenska Skolan i Heidelberg/Karlsruhe Fem veckor innan själva utflykten, hade idén1 intervjuade att få genomföra detta unika projekt slagit in som en bomb bland eleverna. För att kunna EUROPE – genomföra en intervjurunda med ett rockband av världsklass - på svenska förstås – kände (de mestadels tvåspråkiga) barnen en intrinsisk Live & Backstage motivation att utarbeta en intervju med hög kvalité. Veckorna som följde i undervisningen Höstens sensation var att Svenska Skolan i var präglade av entusiasm och strukturerat arbete. Eleverna var riktigt tända på att spelas in på film och att få skriva översättningen till bild 1: Affischen före konserten Heidelberg/Karlsruhe (Tyskland) åkte till Stuttgart på klubben Longhorn och till och med intervjuade rockbandet EUROPE under deras turné ”WAR OF KINGS TOUR”! Den 30:e oktober 2016 skulle eleverna få vara del av dessa magiska ögonblick av glädjefull förväntan och pirr i magen, exalterade inför bild 2: Pirr i magen hos eleverna från Svenska det kommande ögonblicket, då de skulle få Skolan i Heidelberg/Karlsruhe: “Nu kommer träffa EUROPE personligen. rockstjärnorna snart!“ textremsorna sedan så att även tyska barn kan förstå vad som sades. EUROPE and Sanctuary Records renew their bond Sanctuary Records GmbH is looking forward to continue its successful partnership with Swedish superstar rockers EUROPE in 2006. The hard rock heros – still in the original line-up with front man Joey Tempest, guitarist John Norum, keyboarder Mic Michaeli, drummer Ian Haugland and bass player John Leven – present their 7th studio album “Secret Society“, released once more on Sanctuary Records GmbH. Sea of Tranquility - Europe: Live From The Dark (DVD) Page 1 of 4 Europe: Live From The Dark (DVD) I admit that when I covered the Europe appearance in New York last year that I was not sure what to expect. It was a band that I knew of mainly based on the radio hits and constant video on the once music rich MTV. I arrived to a capacity filled venue and experienced an evening of kick ass Rock and Roll that night and it made me smile when I read that the band would be releasing a live DVD based on this tour. To many people of the world Europe was considered “Hair Metal” and with their signature track “Final Countdown” the band found a comfortable home on radio, in video and at large sporting events. 2005 would mark the first time the band had toured since 1992 and not only did this serve as a reunion tour but it would also provide support for the surprisingly effective album Start From The Dark. The album featured a Europe that would take the dismissive listener totally off guard with its rich hooks and powerful vocal numbers. If you expected a milquetoast, keyboard laden CD full of sappy music you would be wrong and cheating yourself by passing on it. Instead the album rocks solid from top to bottom. The DVD was filmed on the final night of the bands tour at a sold-out Hammersmith Apollo theatre and features a great number of their classics as well as a nice amount of tracks from the new album.
