Shinoda will exhibit a number of original works of art he created while writing and recording his recent solo release, Post Traumatic. (Music fades out) Chino: The first time I heard anything of it was a email that I received from Stephen Carpenter, who plays guitar. He sent this demo and I remember I was travelling, and I was on my way to Yellowstone National Park. And I remember like my wife was getting mad at me because I don’t have unlimited data so like I was downloading stuff like using my cellular network. And she was like “Why are you downloading stuff right now? We’re going to run out of data!” But I had already got like two thirds of the way through so I just continued on. The analysis focuses on the album PTSD: Post traumatic stress disorder by the New York rapper Pharoahe Monch, delving into the ways in which it explores the intersections of Blackness and disability. The album's lyrics range from a critique of the structural racism in contemporary American society to subjective, embodied experiences of clinical depression, anxiety, and chronic asthma—and their complex entanglement.

DEFTONES are an American rock band from Sacramento, formed in 1988, consisting of lead singer Chino Moreno , Stephen Carpenter, Chi Cheng, Sergio Vega, Frank Delgado and Abe Cunningham. Their sound combines the booming rhythms of stoner rock with the experimental edge of prog and although they were mostly considered as a nu metal band in their early years, their sound progressively evolved into something more complex and experimental. With their sixth studio album "Diamond Eyes", even those, who are not fans of the heavy rock sound, could not have missed the name DEFTONES after their track "My Own Summer (Shove It)" was included in the cult motion picture "The Matrix" Soundtrack.
