5. DR. SHIREEN M. MAZARI, Minister for Deferred Human Rights to move that the Bill to provide for the well-being, comfort and dignity of the senior citizens residing in the Capital Territory [The Islamabad Capital Territory Senior Citizens Bill, 2021], as passed by the Senate with amendments, be taken into consideration under clause (2) of Article 70 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. 6. DR. SHIREEN M. MAZARI, Minister for Human Rights to move that the Bill to provide for the well-being, comfort and dignity of the senior citizens residing in the Islamabad Capital Territory [The Islamabad Capital Territory Senior Citizens Bill, 2021], be passed.

Khawaja Saad Rafique, MNA announced to walkout along with his party Members of PML(N) against holding of intermediate examinations on short notice without completing the syllabus by Federal Government.

QUORUM

At 12:03 p.m. Sheikh Fayyaz-ud-Din, MNA belonging to PML(N) invited attention of the Chair towards lack of quorum, the count was made, the House was not in order. Mr. Speaker adjourned the proceedings of the House at 12.07 p.m.

RESOLUTION

7. MR. , Minister Left over for Federal Education, Professional Training, National Heritage and Culture to move the following resolution:-

“That the National Assembly resolves to extend the Higher Education Commission (Amendment) Ordinance, 2021 (IX of 2021) for a further period of one hundred and twenty days w.e.f. 24-07-2021, under proviso to sub-paragraph (ii) of paragraph (a) of clause (2) of Article 89 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.”

8. MR. SHAFQAT MAHMOOD, Minister Left over for Federal Education, Professional Training, National Heritage and Culture to move the following resolution:-

“That the National Assembly resolves to extend the Higher Education Commission (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2021 (X of 2021) for a further period of one hundred and twenty days w.e.f. 05-08-2021, under proviso to sub-paragraph (ii) of paragraph (a) of clause (2) of Article 89 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.”

10. RAJA PERVAIZ ASHRAF Left over MS. SHAGUFTA JUMANI DR. MAHREEN RAZZAQ BHUTTO SYED ABRAR ALI SHAH SYED AGHA RAFIULLAH to invite attention of the Minister for Energy to a matter of urgent public importance regarding unscheduled load shedding of electricity across the country, causing grave concern amongst the public.
