To be honest I baffled at some of the previous reviews, which in my view were over critical. The book is easy to read, with great photos and really gives the reader a insight to the lives of these great pilots. Highly Recommended A real page-turner! While FIGHTER ACES OF THE RAF IN THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN is an improvement over his Luftwaffe aces book, Kaplan has a ways to go before he's in the same league as, say, Walt Boyne, Barrett Tillman or Donald Caldwell. iGleize - Fighter Aces lists: Allied aces of the Battle of Britain.
