Films are an engaging medium to spread public awareness about environmental issues and this festival has emerged as an important platform. The Himalayan Mountains are a rich repository of natural resources on which millions of people depend. At the same time, the Himalayas are highly vulnerable to climate change and the communities need to be prepared to face its impacts. Switzerland, itself an Alpine country, has a rich experience in understanding and addressing the impacts of climate change in the mountain ecosystems. Switzerland is a willing partner to collaborate with India to build resilience in the mountains. MESSAGE FOREWORD 10th CMS VATAVARAN An ongoing journey...... Powerful impact….. New grounds to cover.
