The Suzie Cappa Art Center (SCAC) provides a supportive, inspiring environment where talented artists with disabilities , exhibit, and sell their work to the community. CHCBH has been providing medical and dental care to people in our community since 1992. Many of the people supported by Black Hills Works have received exceptional health care through CHCBH. So, when CHCBH moved into a larger building and had lots of walls to decorate, there was a natural connection. “This has been a great partnership,” said Tim Trithart, CEO of the CHCBH, about his organization’s collaboration with Suzie Cappa artists. “The art is amazing and the artists deserve having their work featured so prominently in a public space.” In addition to its main location, CHCBH will also be adding Suzie Cappa Art Center art to its walls in its new satellite clinic at the OneHeart campus in Rapid City. CHCBH’s purchase of artwork by Suzie Cappa artists with HOW TO BUY ART:* disabilities was made possible through grants from a South » PRIVATE TOUR call 791-3578 to schedule Dakota Arts Council matching grant. Shipping is included in the price, but a local pickup option is available for those in the Rapid City area.
