Ian is an accomplished rider and horseman; four time silver medalist at the Olympic Games, winner of several team and individual championship medals in Eventing for Great Britain, three time winner of Badminton, rac- ing steward, fox hunter, and coach. About 10 years ago Ian embarked on his course designing efforts to continue to support the sport that he loves. He has taken on the task of our Advanced- Preliminary tracks. Bert Wood who has been our course builder at the Horse Park for the past decade has been granted his “R” course designer license. Bert has compet- ed in the sport of eventing, built and designed with many of the world’s top course designers, owns racehorses, and is connected to the sport and many different ways. He has taken on the course designing duties for the BN-Training courses. We welcome them both to the Horse Park and look forward to presenting their designing efforts for years to come. Woodside Eventing would like to thank the Horse Park Board of Direc- tors, the president of the Horse Park Gayle Strickland, the Horse Park staff including Larry Gimple and Katie Trafton for their special assistance to- wards the new courses, the fantastic donors and corporate sponsors to the cross country course efforts, and finally the incredible course builders led by Bert Wood along with Tommy Neneman, and Louis Blankenship. Without all of their incredible support and dedication none of our cross country redesign efforts would be possible. 6 Show Grounds Regulations Helmets required at all times while mounted. Please yield to Horse Park vehicles. No smoking anywhere on the property. No open flames, campfires or cooking Speed limit is 10 MPH on all roads No motorized vehicles on Cross-Country at any time. Dogs must be on a held leash at all times. Please clean up after yourselves and your dogs/horse – Leave all areas as you found them. Notes to Spectators and Competitors Remember horses have the right of way. If you hear “Horse Coming” or “Heads Up” please move out of the way quickly. Silence is appreciated during the dressage test until the competitor is finished with his/her final salute and is leaving the arena. Please feel free to seek a good vantage point to enjoy the cross-country jumping. Be aware of horses coming and listen to any fence judge if they ask you to stay clear of the jump. Please refrain from assisting any of the riders on the cross-country course. They are disqualified for unauthorized assistance.
