We’re so glad to be back in the theater for our 2021-22 season! The last ten months have been a unique challenge for small arts organi- zations like Painted Sky Opera. Thanks to our generous supporters, our tireless staff, and our dedicated Board of Directors, we have been able to weather the storm and continue to bring professional opera and opera education to Oklahoma City. What better show to mark our return than Gian Carlo Menotti’s enchanting Amahl and the Night Visitors? We spent our time away from the stage producing online resources for students and adults through our Opera In Place initiative. These resources have been included in the Oklahoma Arts Council’s on- line fine arts curriculum and have received more than 30,000 views since March. You can enjoy our Opera In Place resources, including hours of original performances, at www.paintedskyopera.org. We’ve also been developing the stringent COVID precautions used for this production for our performers, staff, and audience. While our performers are unmasked on stage, they put their masks back on as soon as they leave the stage and have been masked for every second of rehearsal. All staff and performers test twice weekly for COVID and commit to safe practices in and outside of rehearsal. Our precautions are designed and overseen by a certified COVID Compliance Officer in cooperation with Civic Center Music Hall. So, whether you are watching at home or in person, we’re so happy you have joined us for this new world of opera during a pandemic. We appreciate all you do to support opera in OKC! -Rob Glaubtiz STAY TUNED FOR OUR SPECIAL THANKS TO Civic Center Music Hall technical 20 SEASON Civic Center Music Hall box office staff UCO University Productions staff 21 AS ONE David Hardman and UCO School of Music Laura Kaminsky Dr. Luis Rivera and OCU Bass School of Music CityRep LA SERVA PADRONA OKC Philharmonic Wendy Mutz pergolesi Titan Audio Visual SERVICE PROVIDER CNS Productions Christopher Weiss PAGLIACCI Leoncavallo VISIT WWW.PAINTEDSKYOPERA.ORG TO STAY UP TO DATE AND FOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK & INSTAGRAM BIOS
