Even as students are cramming for fi nals, preparations are un- derway for the Day on the Boulevard ses- quicentennial celebration, marking 150 years of SI’s service to students of the San Francisco Bay Area. Make your reservations now for the June 4 event, as no tickets will be sold “at the door” for this Wildcat extravaganza. (Go to www.siprep.org to register.) When you come, you’ll fi nd 37th Avenue turned into a giant block party featuring live mu- sic, performances, games, rides, food and refreshments. You’ll fi nd SI history every- where, from a student multimedia theat- rical experience to old photographs and memorabilia. You might even fi nd more than a few of your classmates ready to share stories of your time together at SI. You’ll also fi nd a remarkable mural cre- ated by Boris Koodrin ’67. His work, also entitled “Spiritus Magis,” spans the hallway on the school’s fi rst fl oor and depicts SI’s history. Boris began planning his mural by reading an early draft of the history of SI.
