BAHRAIN MERIDA PRO CONTINUES ITS TRAVELS WITH SCICON BAGS IN 2018.

The Bahrain Merida Pro Cycling team is to continue its journey with Scicon Bags through 2018, with both riders’ and staff’s needs being facilitated by the comprehensive range of SCICON products, each specifically designed to serve a purpose, suited to the needs of its owner. Reflecting its mantra of ‘The Power of Red’, the team’s range of custom Scicon Bags, ranging from the AeroComfort ROAD 3.0 bike travel bags, to the team’s red Soigneur Bags and Race Rain Bags certainly turned heads last season, and these are set to make a return this year with SCICON continuing as Official Team Supplier of the WorldTour outfit. The Bahrain Merida Pro Cycling team formed in 2017, bringing together a strong roster of riders including , and Giovanni Visconti, between whom the team scored eight of its 12 victories. Nibali, one of the world’s strongest Grand Tour contenders, finished third at the Giro d’Italia, taking a stage win along the way, and followed this up with second place at the Vuelta a España. Bahrain Merida Pro Cycling Team got the season off to a strong start at the Tour Down Under, where Gorka Izaguirre placed 7th overall, while across the world, teammate Kanstantsin Siutsou finished 9th on GC at the Vuelta a San Juan in Argentina. From there it was a quick turnaround to head to the UAE for the Dubai Tour before bike bags are packed, and riders and equipment flown back to Europe for the start of the season in the Northern Hemisphere where the Spring Classics await.
