Ruaha Safari Extention Special

Ruaha is known for its large population of elphant, buffalo, greater and lesser kudu, hippo, crocs and its magnificent scenery.

It is one of the countries newest and best national parks, but because of its location, it is one of the least visited. Ruaha it 5,000 sq. miles which makes it almost as large as the Serengeti National Park. The landscape is characterized by miombo wood- land with rocky hills on a plateau over 3,300 ft. (1,000 m) in altitude.

Park elevation ranges from 2,460 ft. (750 m) in the Ruaha Valley to the 6,230 ft. (1,900 m) Ikungu Mountain in the west of the park. We will depart Arusha or Dar on a scheduled charter flight to the Ruaha National Park and transfer to camp.
