Gilbert, Arizona Choosing a Book ne day at school, a Ofriend and I were choosing a book to read together. The book my friend wanted to read was a ghost story. When we had read a few pages, I had an uneasy feeling because I remembered that my mom had told me not to read that book. My brother Ben had read it earlier, and it had bad things in it. There are phrases like “choose the good” or “choose ye this day whom ye will serve.” It wasn’t until the 1909 when the hymn "Choose the Right" was published in the LDS hymn book that Choose the Right became well known. Isaac Then, almost 50 years ago during the fall session of General Conference, Elder Gordon B. Hinckley promised a small CTR ring to every 6 and 7 year old Primary child! That was the beginning of the CTR ring for Primary children in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints.
