2008-2009 Elon Phoenix Student Ticket Distribution Policy https://ticketreturn.com/phoenix (Policies are subject to change, without notice)

1. ONLINE STUDENT TICKET DISTRIBUTION (Football, Men’s ) 1.1. Students register online at https://ticketreturn.com/phoenix for student tickets to regular season home games [ Online registration for NCAA tournaments, Championships, and any other pre or post season events is determined on a game-by-game basis ] 1.1.1. Student’s login u sing their Phoenix Student ID #. 1.1.1.1. Students who have lost or misplaced their Phoenix Card must purchase another Phoenix Card. Students can get a replacement by visiting the Phoenix Card Office located in Moseley 111A, calling the office at 278 -5436, or going online to http://www.elon.edu/phoenixcard . A Phoenix Card is mandatory to enter any Phoenix Athletic Event with a student ticket. 1.1.1.2. Currently enrolled students are eligible to receive one (1) ticket to all Phoenix ticketed home athletic events, based on availability. 1.2. Students have a secure, personal account from which to: a) manage their account information, b) track their attendance history, c) print their ticket d) cancel a previously claimed ticket, and e) purchase student guest tickets, if applicable . 1.2.1. Students can elect to receive an automatic email reminder at the beginning of each ticket registration period by checking the “reminder emai l” button under their Student Status Information on the Student Information page of https://ticketreturn.com/phoenix . 1.2.2. By registering for tickets, students consent to receiving emails related to their ticket requests. Students can elect to opt -out of receiv ing additional emails regarding athletic events by checking the “disable emails” button under their Student Status Information on the Student Information page of https://ticketreturn.com/phoenix . Students will then receive only those emails related to thei r ticket requests (e.g. email notification of being awarded a ticket, being placed on waitlist, etc.). 1.2.3. Students who claim a ticket but later decide not to attend the game for whatever reason must cancel their ticket online no later than 12:00 Noon one day prior to game day to avoid being counted as a no show. 1.2.4. If student tickets remain, students may pick up a student ticket on game day: a) 1 ½ hours prior to kickoff for football or b) 1 hour prior to tipoff for basketball at the designated student entrance for each respective sport. Tickets are available until halftime of the game or until the student ticket allotment runs out. Tickets are subject to availability and every ticket must be accompanied by a valid Phoenix ID. 2. SEATING IN 2.1. All students seating will be general admission seating in the designated student seating areas of the arena (Sections 104, 105, 106, and the hill). These areas can be seen on the Rhodes Stadium diagram on the student website. 2.2. All students will enter through the student entrance located on the walkway to the left of the main entrance and behind the home bleachers. All students must enter through this entrance and any available tickets will be located at this entrance. 2.3. The student entrance will open 1 ½ hours prior to kickoff. 2.4. Phoenix Card must accompany student ticket to gain admittance . 2.5. Event staff will settle all disputes that arise over general admission seating and all decisions of said Event Staff are final. 3. SEATING IN ALUMNI GYMNASIUM 3.1. All students seating will be general admission seating in the designated student seating areas of the arena. These areas can be seen on the Alumni Gymnasium diagram on the student website. 3.2. All students will enter through the student entrance outside the main entrance to Alumni Gymnasium 3.3. The student entrance will open 1 hour prior to tipoff. 3.4. Phoenix Card must accompany student ticket to gain admittance . 3.5. Event staff will settle all disputes that arise over general admission seating and all decisions of said Event Staff are final. 4. TICKET CANCELLATION POLICY 4.1. Students who claim a ticket but later decide not to attend the game for whatever reason must cancel their ticket online no later than 12:00 Noon one day prior to the game or be counted as a no-show. 5. STUDENT NO-SHOW POLICY 5.1. Students are limited in the number of times per season that they no-show for games. Each student no-show results in another student without a ticket who is denied the opportunity to attend a game. Please be considerate of your fellow student. 6. STUDENT ADMISSION TO FOOTBALL HOME GAMES 6.1. Basic Requirements: admission to all football home games require that students present the following: a) their valid student ticket b) their valid Phoenix Card 6.1.1. Each student ticket has printed on it a) a unique barcode (1 of 30,000,000 per game), and b) the student’s name 6.1.2. Student tickets must be used by a valid Elon student who is required to present both the student ticket and their valid Phoenix Card to gain admittance. This is designed to eliminate the scalping of student tickets and protect the student body’s fees and interest. 6.1.2.1. Student A cannot gain admission using the Phoenix Card of Student B 6.1.2.2. In the event that a student ticket is duplicated, only the first ticket (barcode) scanned at the student gate will be admitted – all duplicated tickets will be denied admission. Therefore, it is in the students’ own interest not to duplicate their tickets. 6.1.2.3. Students who attempt to use another student Phoenix Card or a duplicated ticket will be denied entrance and may have to appear before the judicial board. 7. STUDENT ADMISSION TO MEN’S BASKETBALL GAMES 7.1. Basic Requirements: admission to all men’s basketball home games require that students present the following: a) their valid student ticket b) their valid Phoenix Card 7.1.1. Each student ticket has printed on it a) a unique barcode (1 of 30,000,000 per game), and b) the student’s name 7.1.2. Student tickets must be used by a valid Elon student who is required to present both the student ticket and their valid Phoenix Card to gain admittance. This is designed to eliminate the scalping of student tickets. 7.1.2.1. Student A cannot gain admission using the Phoenix Card of Student B 7.1.2.2. Students who attempt to use another student Phoenix Card or a duplicated ticket will be denied entrance and may have to appear before the judicial board. 8. STUDENT PAID GUEST TICKETS 8.1. Football – Not Applicable at this time 8.2. Men’s Basketball – Not Applicable at this time 9. VIOLATIONS OF THE STUDENT TICKET DISTRIBUTION POLICY 9.1. Students who violate provisions of the student ticket distribution policy will be referred to the Office of Judicial Programs (OJP) and, when necessary, to the Department of Public Safety (Campus Police). 9.1.1. Violations that will result in referrals include, but are not limited to: 9.1.1.1. The sale or attempted sale of student tickets 9.1.1.2. The duplication, replication, or alteration of student tickets. 9.1.1.3. The presentation of a false, duplicated, replicated, or altered Phoenix Card, or the use by another student at the student entrance or Athletic Ticket Office. 9.1.1.4. Gaining or attempting to gain unauthorized access to the online student ticket distribution system or the personal account of another student. 9.1.2. Students found “responsible” for violations of the student ticket distribution policy by OJP or convicted of a criminal act related to the student ticket distribution policy, faces the loss of access to tickets in addition to other penalties.
