Rome 04/05/2017 – Everything is in readiness for the second round of the 2017 Italian F.4 Championship powered by Abarth, which will get underway starting this Friday May 5th at the Adria Circuit. Adria International Ra- ceway, with a length of 2.7km, is a technical circuit which places a premium on technical set-up and importance on getting the best exit out of the slo- wer corners around the circuit.

• This is the programme for the weekend: on Friday the 5th drivers will have two sessions of 40 minutes to learn the circuit and find an ideal set-up in the two free practice sessions. The first session is at 15:00 followed by session two at 17:30. Qualifying gets underway at 10:00am on Saturday morning, divided into two timed 15 minute sections (with a 10 minute break) to decide the grid order for Race 1 and 2 respectively.

• The starting grid for Race 1 (28 minutes + 1 lap), will be determined by the best time in the first qualifying session and the grid for Race 2 by the best times from the second session. In both cases, in the event that two drivers recorded the identical time, precedence will be given to the driver who re- corded the time earlier in the session.

• The grid for Race 3 (which this year is held over a duration of 28 minutes + 1 lap) will be determined by the second overall fastest time in either official session.

• Race 1 will be held at 17:20 on Saturday. Sunday at 9:40 the red lights go out to signal the start of Race 2 and, at 15:30 for Race 3.

• All races count towards the Overall Championship, the Rookie Trophy, the Woman’s Trophy and the Teams Championship.

• The Venezuelan Sebastian Fernandez leads the Drivers’ standings with 75 points. Behind him, is his team mate, the Italian Lorenzo Colombo who took 48 points from the Misano weekend. Third in the standings is the Russian Artem Petrov. In the Rookie Trophy, the Brazilian is the lea- der, followed by the Italian Leonardo Lorandi and the Argentine .
