The program indicates that information about discount lending by particular institutions is confidential and may not be released to researchers or the public. I pointed out that this answer may be inconsistent with Dodd-Frank and with the Counsel of Presidents recent vote regarding records of the discount committee. 14 Oct Richmond Fed, Central Banking Knowledge Program -- Lecture on "The History of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond." Lectured for 1 hour with 30 minutes for Q and A. The Centennial Steering Committee supervised the development and execution of the Fed's centennial efforts, including the creation of web sites, museum exhibits, education materials, research conferences, collectible memorabilia, public- information materials, and social media campaign (July 2012 to September 2013). July-Dec Member. Executive Oversight Group. Federal Reserve Historical Gateway. As a member of this group, I supervised the staff and consulting firms working on this project. I played a key role in decisions, such as switching contractors, necessary for the project’s success. I initiated and led the development of the content plan for the Gateway (www.federalreservehistory.org). I presented the plan to the Centennial Advisory and Sponsoring Committees and received approval from both groups. Then, I served as a principal overseeing the construction of the Gateway and implementation of the content plan (July 2012 to September 2013). July-Dec Chief, Editorial Board, Federal Reserve Historical Gateway. Led the editorial board for the historical events section of the Gateway. Recruited members, assigned topics, developed editorial standards (with assistance from staff at FRB Richmond), and edited all essays. Also assisted with the development and editing of content for the People and Purpose sections of the Gateway (at

I came up with the idea for this exhibit, wrote a proposal, presented it to the Centennial Sponsoring Committee, and received approval. Then, I developed a plan for the exhibit, collected artifacts and illustrations, wrote text, and provided this material to the designers and curators who prepared the artwork and case displays. Spoke on the history of the Fed at the opening of the exhibit on Sept 27, 2013. (July 2012 to September 2013). Aug-Dec Advisor, Japanese-American Evacuee Records, FRB San Francisco. Initiated a review of the Japanese- Internment Records held at FRB San Francisco. With FRB staff, including Anne Hall, Cindy Hill, and Joy Hoffman, evaluated the content and significance of the records. Discussed records with FRB Presidents John Williams (San Francisco) and Jeff Lacker (Richmond). Mentioned project to FR BOG Chair Ben Bernanke. Initiated project to determine options for releasing records to scholars. Helped to organize assessment meeting with faculty and staff from UC Berkeley and the Bancroft Library.
