• Container Terminal: • Current: 108,000 TEUs Per Annum • 1,241 TEUs Laden Container at any one time • 2 weight bridge • Container stacking: 3 layers • 4-5 daily trips to New Butterworth Container Terminal

• Upgrade works: • Estimated completion: End 2019 • Cost: RM29 Millions/USD6.8 Millions PADANG BESAR CONTAINER TERMINAL UPGRADE

• Upgrade hardstand to accommodate 5-layer stacking • New elevated office & security post • Additional 2 weight bridge • Replace existing BS80 rail & turnout to UIC54 • Track flushing • Increase annual capacity to 132,000 TEUs Embedded Tracks
