MAENTWROG is a parish and village beautifully There are Calvinistic Methodist chapels at Maentwrog situated in the vale of Festiniog, on the river Dwyrhyd, and Maentwrog Uchaf, an Independent chapel, and one in the county of Merioneth, hundred of Ardudwy, and at Utica, and a W esleyan chapel.
