Here We Are at 500! the BRL’S 500 to Be Exact and What a Trip It Has Been
el Fans, here we are at 500! The BRL’s 500 to be exact and what a trip it has been. Imagibash 15 was a huge success and the action got so intense that your old pal the Teamster had to get involved. The exclusive coverage of that ppv is in this very issue so I won’t spoil it and give away the ending like how the ship sinks in Titanic. The Johnny B. Cup is down to just four and here are the representatives from each of the IWAR’s promotions; • BRL Final: Sir Gunther Kinderwacht (last year’s winner) • CWL Final: Jane the Vixen Red (BRL, winner of 2017 Unknown Wrestler League) • IWL Final: Nasty Norman Krasner • NWL Final: Ricky Kyle In one semi-final, we will see bitter rivals Kinderwacht and Red face off while in the other the red-hot Ricky Kyle will face the, well, Nasty Normal Krasner. One of these four will win The self-professed “Greatest Tag team wrestler the 4th Johnny B Cup and the results will determine the breakdown of the prizes. ? in the world” debuted in the NWL in 2012 and taunt-filled promos earned him many enemies. The 26th Marano Memorial is also down to the final 5… FIVE? Well since the Suburban Hell His “Teamster Challenge” offered a prize to any Savages: Agent 26 & Punk Rock Mike and Badd Co: Rick Challenger & Rick Riley went to a NWL rookie who could capture a Tag Team title draw, we will have a rematch. The winner will advance to face Sledge and Hammer who won with him, but turned ugly when he kept blaming the CWL bracket. -

An Early History of Simpson County, Mississippi by Bee King
An Early History of Simpson County, Mississippi by Bee King Compiled by Frances B. Krechel AFFECTIONATELY DEDICATED TO: Mrs. L. H. Holyfield (Beulah Boggan) (Electronic version prepared by NP Computers for Mendenhall Public Library, Lu Ann Bailey Librarian) Due to her life-long (b. 1893) interest, and being a native Mississippian, Miss Beulah has gathered together many historical articles and books, and it is basically from this remarkable and vast collection that the enclosed material has been taken, her love of Mississippi history proved to be contagious. So it is with deep appreciation and a sincere “Thank You” for the special help and encouragement, that another chapter has been added to the extensive recording of the state’s heritage. Miss Beulah has also meticulously and lovingly chronicled the names and dates of her Boggan and related families and it is through this mutual family connection that the compiler became interested in the events concerning the early days. All of the stories have been selected from a series of articles written by the late Bee King, who was a well- known lawyer, historian and writer. The Simpson County News began running the series in their weekly newspaper in 1937 and continued until 1948. Mr. King’s writings are a graphic presentation of the life and times of early Simpson County. He interviewed the elderly citizens through out the area and uniquely recorded for posterity the experiences of the people in day to day living. The picture shows Mr. King in his office when he was Mayor of Mendenhall, the county seat of Simpson County. -

Dear Bookstore Owner, February 16, 2021 Hello! My name is Capt. Christopher German and I would like to introduce you to Whither We Tend. Whither We Tend is a new novel that was released earlier this month by IngramSpark that I wrote at the close of last year, during the political strife that gripped our nation. The winds of political change inspired me one night in October, in a dream I had, where I envisioned what a second civil war might look like for the United States. It no doubt came to me in light of the current events of the end of 2020, especially with what appeared to be the eventual outcomes that have indeed occurred since that time. What came from that dream was a pair of men who represent some of the perspectives of modern Americans, as well as a President who is so committed to saving his America, that he is willing to stomp on the Constitution and the necks of Americans to do it. Here is an excerpt from the description, “Simon Gates is a mild-mannered insurance agent from Stratford, Connecticut. Major Gus Spiros is a war-weary ex-contractor for the US Government. The two men meet by accident and start a series of events that will lead them both toward a war that will attempt to reclaim America. ….Just as Lincoln asked of the people in his House divided speech, Whither We Tend asks the question, whether we are heading towards a war that will tear us apart or a war that will unite us as a stronger and better Nation. -

INCREASE AEROBIC CAPACITY INCREASE AEROBIC CAPACITY • Blood is made up of three parts: oxygen-carrying red cells, white blood cells and plasma. • Hemoglobin is a protein found within the red cells. INCREASE AEROBIC CAPACITY • Hematocrit refers to the percentage of red blood cells in the blood. Under normal conditions, hematocrit will relate closely to the concentration of hemoglobin in the blood. Hematocrit is usually found to be 40.7- 50% for males and 36.1- 44.3% for females. INCREASE AEROBIC CAPACITY • Performance improves with an increase in hemoglobin and hematocrit, which increases oxygen carrying capacity of the blood thus improving aerobic ability. • J Appl Physiol. 1972 Aug;33(2):175-80. Melissa took our photograph outside, with Bobbi smoking and me self-consciously holding my left wrist in my right hand, as if I was afraid the wrist was going to get away from me. Melissa used a big professional camera and kept lots of different lenses in a special camera pouch. She chatted and smoked while taking the pictures. She talked about our performance and we talked about her work, which we’d come across on the internet. Around midnight the bar closed. It was starting to rain then, and Melissa told us we were welcome to come back to her house for a drink. We all got into the back of a taxi together and started fixing up our seat belts. Bobbi sat in the middle, with her head turned to speak to Melissa, so I could see the back of her neck and her little spoon-like ear. Melissa gave the driver an address in Monkstown and I turned to look out the window. A voice came on the radio to say the words: eighties … pop … classics. -

How 4 New Small Businesses in Madrid Are Staying Afloat
How one man overcame travel restrictions to leave the US for Portugal amid the pandemic Recently, I put out a call because I’m writing a piece on international remote workers who have chosen to relocate during the pandemic, like myself. And a man got in touch with me whose story I’d like to share in theLockdown Diaries series. Coincidentally, we had both lived in Madrid and we now both live in Portugal, yet how we got here is very different. Although I’ll keep his name anonymous, he has given me permission to share his story with you. This is the story of a man who discreetly left the United States for greener pastures in Europe during the pandemic. He didn’t feel like he could be his truest self in America—being gay and Black, especially in the South where he’s from. Nor did the work culture appeal to him. As he had lived abroad before in Madrid, and gained a taste of freedom and acceptance there, reintegrating back into the US afterward weighed heavily on him. Back in January, he had a sense of dread that something terrible would happen in the US, so he began plotting his exit strategy. And as a singer and a teacher who gives classes online, he knew he could work from anywhere with internet access. Despite border closures between the US and Europe in July, he took action and flew a convoluted route from his city in the southern US to Belgrade, as Serbia is one of the only locations that is currently accepting travelers from the US. -

Hypoventilation Training: a Systematic Review
published online on 01.11.2019 https://doi.org/10.34045/SSEM/2018/23 REVIEW Hypoventilation Training: a systematic review EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY / HYPOXIA / SPORTS SCIENCE / TRAINING Atemmangeltraining: eine systematische Übersichtsarbeit Holfelder B1, Becker F1 1 Institut für Sport- und Bewegungswissenschaft, Universität Stuttgart Abstract Background: High altitude training seems beneficial for many athletes. However, training in altitude is always associated with travel and high expenses. Thus, methods have been developed to achieve similar effects as with high altitude training. One method is voluntary hypoventilation training (VHT). Although published online on 01.11.2019 https://doi.org/10.34045/SSEM/2018/23 commonly used in training, the effectiveness of this method has not been analysed sufficiently. Methods: Intervention studies of voluntary hypoventilation training were identified from searches in PubMed, SciVerse Science Direct, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, EBSCOhost and Google Scholar. Results: Ten studies met the inclusion criteria. In seven studies, an intervention of VHT lead to greater improvements of the performance compared to a control programme. Conclusions: The overall positive study results support the usefulness of VHT for improving the performance and designing a varied training. Due to the limited numbers of intervention studies and the heterogeneous study designs, the outcomes must be interpreted with caution. Zusammenfassung Hintergrund: Höhentraining bietet einen wirkungsvollen Trainingsreiz für viele Sportler.
