ANNUAL REPORT

INFINITE EDUCATION 1 Chairman’s Letter Board of Trustees As I enter my third and final term as Chairman it’s exciting to look back on the many accomplishments and great strides made by the Auburn Automobile Museum.

The first phase of the Digitization Project was expected to take two years, with a completion date of September 30,

2016 2017, and I’m thrilled to share is was officially completed in April 2017. With the first phase completed, the digitization team will move onto the next phase which includes a significant amount of original blueprints.

Our biggest obstacle with the Digitization Project is not production but funding, with the project funded through the end of 2017, we will need additional funding moving forward. This is an important project that will allow greater access to approximately 100,000 archival items for researchers, writers, restorers, students, and many others. Troy Ackerman, Terence Adderley, Michael Betten, The Museum received five additional vehicles from the estate of Guy E. Beatty in Laura Brinkman, Earl Brooks II, Jeff Burns, Ed Cepuran, 2016. A special exhibit, which has been titled “The Beatty Bunch,” will be on display at Gene Davenport, Dan Drummond, Terry Hines, the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum during the Labor Day weekend Herb Horrom, Mike Huffman, Ron Huinker, Brian Joseph, festivities. John Kruse, Charles Shepard III, John Steckbeck, It is inspiring to see all of the work that has gone into the Museum. None of it would Chuck Surack, Steve Valenti, Douglas Woods. be possible without the dedication of so many volunteers and donors over the past four decades. Thank you so much for all you do. • Founded 1973 by Auburn Automotive Best Regards, Heritage, Inc.
