CATE LE BON AT THE CLUNY, NEWCASTLE

Welsh singer-songwriter Cate Le Bon will make her way to Newcastle on Monday 26th August as part of her UK tour. The folk singer, who moved from rural West Wales to Los Angeles, looks back on 10 years of songs tinged in dark fragility delivered in her beautifully haunting voice, immortalised in three EPs and four albums. Earlier this year, le Bon added her fifth full-length release with studio album ‘Reward’ that she recorded while spending a year living solitarily in the Lake District where she alternated between crafting chairs and writing songs. The result is her most personal release to date: an album that is stylistically varied, surrealistically-inclined and tactile but also intensely introspective FLOCKFEST and profound.
