Trump Business Empire Faces Challenges As 2016 Race Nears End
Trump business empire faces challenges as 2016 race nears end foxnews.com/politics/2016/10/27/trump-business-empire-faces-challenges-as-2016-race-nears-end.html By Barnini Chakraborty Published October 27, 2016 FoxNews.com Donald Trump built his presidential campaign on his reputation as a businessman -- but no matter what happens on Election Day, that business will face a complicated picture as it looks to build a brand that is far more controversial than it was before the 2016 race. Already, Trump’s hotels, including his newest property in Washington, D.C., are facing challenges. Low occupancy rates at the Trump International Hotel in the nation’s capital forced the company earlier this month to cut prices 50 percent on its own website. The hotel, which had a soft opening last month, held its official ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday. Meanwhile, the latest line of properties, Scion, has dropped the Trump name. Trump's detractors have openly rooted for the Republican nominee's campaign controversies to tank his business empire. Following the infamous leaked tape of Trump talking about groping women, entrepreneur and Hillary Clinton supporter Mark Cuban tweeted: “Every single @realDonaldTrump hotel and golf course is toast. Done. Over. Bernie Madoff now has a better brand.” But some analysts suggest that while Trump's properties may be taking a short-term hit, they'll recover. Branding expert Jim Cusson, president of Theory House told FoxNews.com he believes Trump’s brand will bounce back. What is less understood and explored is its escalating integration with audiences, markets and entertainment industries beyond the Indian subcontinent. This book explores the relationship of Bollywood to Australia. We believe that this increasingly important relationship is an outcome of the convergence between two remarkably dynamic entities—globalising Bollywood, on the one hand and Asianising Australia, on the other. If there is a third element in this relationship, which is equally important, it is the mediating power of the vibrant diasporic community of South Asians in Australia. Hence, at its most basic, this book explores the conjunctures and ruptures between these three forces: Bollywood, Australia and their interface, the diaspora. 1 Bollywood in Australia It would be useful to see, at the outset, how Bollywood here refers not only to the Bombay film industry, but is symbolic of the Indian and even the South Asian film industry. -

Michael O'Connell, Producer, It’s All Journalism And you just came from ABC, you were doing a show. Rick Klein Yeah, we just did This Week roundtable, actually my maiden appearance on that roundtable, so that was fun. Megan Cloherty What was the topic of conversation? Rick Klein A little bit about the Obama health care law and the ramifications of that delay. Big story this week. Immigration, which of course, is consuming Washington for much of the summer. And then just wrapping President Obama's trip to Africa and the unique joint appearance with President Bush over in Tanzania. 1985 - OST the Last Emperor Sunday, 03 August 2008 13:54
1985 - OST The Last Emperor Sunday, 03 August 2008 13:54 The Last Emperor, director Bernardo Bertolucci's epic tale of Pu Yi, the exiled final potentate of China's 3,000-year old Qing dynasty, was the big winner at the 1988 Academy Awards, taking Oscars for (among others) Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Original Score. The composing trio of Sakamoto/Byrne/Su was an unusual one to be sure, but it's clearly Sakamoto who carries the day here. The avant-garde trained/former Yellow Magic Orchestra pop mastermind crafted a seamless fusion of grand Western themes, Asian shadings, and his own deliciously distinct timbrel sensibilities; an accessible if deceptively modern classicism. Not surprisingly given his Talking Heads roots, Byrne's efforts are more rhythmic and minimal, yet his consuming passion for world music thoroughly evidences itself as well. His lyric and lilting "Main Title Theme" (one of the film's unusual elements was its use of two main themes by separate composers) may offer a pleasant surprise to listeners overly familiar with his pop work. The composer Cong Su is represented by just one cut; but it's a gentle, ethereal spin on Chinese folk influences that fits well with his fellow composers' work. --Jerry McCulley DB: "Bernardo, the director, came and saw Stop Making Sense. He saw it in a theatre in Rome and he was knocked out. He liked the film and the performance, but the audience got involved in the film. They got up and danced, they jumped up on the stage, they sang along and whooped and hollered. -

We’d like to think that in a highly partisan modern world, we actually live up to the credo: “We New York@Night Report, You Decide”. No segment of jazz or improvised music or avant garde or 4 whatever you call it is overlooked, since only as a full quilt can we keep out the cold of commercialism. Interview: Cooper-Moore Sometimes it is more difficult, especially during the bleak winter months, to 6 by Kurt Gottschalk put together a good mixture of feature subjects but we quickly forget about that when June rolls around. It’s an embarrassment of riches, really, this first month of Artist Feature: Orrin Evans summer. Just like everyone pulls out shorts and skirts and sandals and flipflops, 7 by Terrell Holmes the city unleashes concert after concert, festival after festival.
