Worshipping God is so much more than a song service, although our corporate praise is critical to our Christian walk. But think of it this way: One of the best ways to learn a foreign language is to use the immersion process, in which we eat, breathe and sleep that foreign language. It’s the same with worship. If we desire to transform our lives into the image of Christ, we need to have constant movement toward God, seeking to reflect His character as we become more like Him in the ultimate act of worship, submission that leads to transformation—offering back to God that which He has given us. “This is . . . true and proper worship” (Romans 12:1).
