Milestones

Kiichiro Toyoda, the founder of Toyota Motor Corporation, was born in 1894. Inheriting the spirit of his father, Sakichi Toyoda, an inventor of looms, Kiichiro devoted his life to automobile manufacturing, at the time an unknown field in Japan. After a lot of painstaking work, he completed the A1 prototype passenger in 1935, and the Motor Corporation began.
