There may be many programs available to you and your family that will provide medical coverage in addition to what you receive from Indian Health Service (IHS). Many families, including those with employed parents, may be eligible for state funded programs such as Medicaid or SCHIP. When our patients apply for and remain on these programs, it allows us to use our IHS funds to obtain or retain quality providers and services.

There are staff at both the Keller and Inchelium health centers to assist with the application process. If you would prefer to apply using the online application our Patient Education kiosks are available in our clinic lobby’s for your use. There is an icon on the computer desktop that will link you directly to the online application. Also located at both clinic sites are the Tribal Health staff who are experts at assisting, not only with Medicaid, but also with Medicare and other resources you may qualify for.
