All entries must have proof of current negative Coggins test and will be checked at the Entry Booth. ALL Gaited-type horses MUST be inspected before entering the ring for EACH CLASS. All Gaited-type First Place Winners must return to DQP immediately following the class. Gaited-type horses must be presented for DQP inspection unsaddled.
Stalls are available on a first come basis – 44 available @ $30.00 for the event

Rules and Regulations
The program distributed on the day of the show takes precedence over any others. Professional cards are required. All PRIDE-HIO rules are in effect for this show, including shoeing regulations, cross-entering regulations, etc. The shoe for the Lite-Shod Pleasure Horse, on both front and rear hooves, must be no wider than 3/4 inch and no thicker than 3/8 inch with the exception of the caulk, which must be no thicker than 3/4 inch. The turnback shall not exceed one inch, and the shoe must not extend more than 1/4 inch beyond the hoof at the toe. The shoe is not to extend beyond the bulb of the horse’s heel when a perpendicular line is drawn from the bulb of the horse’s heel to the ground. The use of borium is permitted on the caulks of the pleasure shoes, but the thickness of the shoe and caulk with the borium must not exceed 7/8 inches. No additional weight shall be allowed on or in the hoof, other than the shoe and nails. The Amateur Country Pleasure Horse must be shod no more than 3/8 inch x 1 inch Amateur Trail Pleasure Classes: The Amateur Trail Pleasure Horse must be lite shod (3/8” x 3/4” maximum) Persons on Federal Disqualifications cannot transport horses to this show and can participate only as spectators. No refund will be issued for a horse that does not pass inspection. The show Committee reserves the right to bar any animal, exhibitor, owner, or spectator for conduct not in the best interest of the show. Anyone exhibiting unsportsmanlike behavior will be asked to leave. Horses that exhibit uncontrolled behavior will be asked to leave the ring or grounds. Schooling will be allowed in the show ring when it is not otherwise being used, as deemed by show management. Exhibitors are encouraged to make their entries as far in advance as possible. A two-minute gate call will be enforced. Please request tack changes at least two classes in advance. Classes with 15 or more entries may be split at the judges’ discretion. Classes of trot/jog with 15 or more will be split by discipline. The sponsors of the show will not be responsible for any article of any kind that may be lost, destroyed or stolen. Spectators teasing or tampering with the horses do so at their own risk. Neither the owners nor the Horse show will be liable in case of injury. Dogs MUST be kept on a leash at ALL times. Any unnecessary distraction may cause a horse to become frightened. Therefore, adults are cautioned to keep children away from the ring fence to avoid possible injury to spectators or exhibitors. Any horses or ponies that cannot be kept under control will be excused from the ring. Umbrellas are NOT allowed at ringside. No tents are to be placed closer than 10 feet to the show ring. A Juvenile rider is any rider who was not older than 17 on January 1, 2012.
