The Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society will conduct its 209th auction on December 9, 2005, at 2215 Millstream Road, Lancaster, , one-half mile east of the intersection of Routes 30 and 462. The 2006 sales will be held on March 10, 2006, June 9, September 8 and December 8. The auction not only specializes in local and denominational history and genealogy of southeastern Pennsylvania, but also includes theological works and other types of material of interest to the nationwide constituency. Please refer to the last page of the catalog for book auction procedures. Individual catalogs are available from the Society for $8.00 ($4.00 for Society members) + $3.00 postage and handling. Absentee bids should be in rounded dollar amounts. For example, an absentee bid of $20.50 is not acceptable; it should be simply $20.00 or $21.00.
