Farnley Church lambing service 3rd May at 9.30 am We are now surrounded by the 2015 crop of lambs and to give thanks we are holding a thanksgiving for lambing at our family service. We invite all, young and older, to bring a "toy" or model lamb if you have one, we may have a live one or two as well, in our sheep pen outside the church….if they are not too big by then! It will be interesting to see the range of lambs gathered that day! Refreshments afterwards. Church Life 7

A group from the united churches in the Washburn valley, and beyond, walked from Stack Point car park, along the reservoir side and up the path to the Church on Palm Sunday. The day was cool and damp, but that did not deter us – least of all the donkeys loaned and led by the Barker family. The donkeys enjoyed their second visit to the church in four months and behaved themselves impeccably. The walk was followed by a short service for Palm Sunday. Christian Aid 11 NOW!! .... IN MAY
