Although everything is in flux because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the committee plans to continue meeting on its normal schedule. Committee members and guests introduced themselves. Minutes. The minutes from the March meeting were approved. Preliminary Matters. • SAAC Representative: Johnson welcomed Patrick Lyons, a senior on the Lacrosse team and UNC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee member, to the meeting. Patrick is one of the student liaisons to FAC. • Virtual Retreat: Committee members were in favor of scheduling a virtual retreat this summer, particularly to help orient the new committee members. The consensus was to hold two ninety-minute sessions on consecutive days in mid-June. Newly elected FAC members will be invited to attend. II. Chancellor’s Remarks Chancellor Guskiewicz thanked all for joining the meeting virtually. He told senior Patrick Lyons that he did not want his senior year to end this way, but that UNC will celebrate commencement for the Class of 2020. A survey has been distributed to all graduating students seeking their input on several options for commencement.
