The L ife TW-X59 Tesla Cannon L eech is the ultim ate in arcane ”crowd control” but using it near high ledges or C abalco has finally solved the m ystery of ball lighting and put its acid pools may prove unsafe (wink-wink) for your enemies. 10 11 Talismans (Power-ups) All-seeing Eye T he player can drop the All-seeing E ye anywhere, or throw it by holding down its hot key. O nce the eye is in place the player can look Life Essence through it and see what it sees by pressing its hot key a second tim e. H ealth restores 25 points of the player’s health up to their m axim um . T he eye is easily destroyed, and if the player is looking through it when this happens they are blinded for several seconds. O nce the eye is Life Seed destroyed it will autom atically return to the player’s inventory. M egahealth adds 100 health to the player’s current health total. This can increase the player’s health above the norm al maxim um , but no higher than 250 (300 for those with the C onstitution B inding). Binoculars B inoculars, when activated, allow the player to see for long distances. L ike the F lashlight, this item never goes away. Ward This Talism an adds to the player’s D efense value. It adds 25 points to the armor value up to the player’s m aximum. Proximity Bomb P roxim ity B ombs are sm all motion detectors connected to a wad of Necroward plastique. T he player then taps the Flashlight fire key to drop the bom b, or holds down on the fire key to throw it. In effect, it uses the new brand of E nergizer that never runs down. Med-kit The M ed-kit is a portable first aid kit. It starts off with 100 points which can be used to restore health. O nce the player starts using the kit it is autom atically replenished whenever the player picks up excess health power-ups. Night Goggles N ight Vision G oggles am plify all the light in the area, allowing the player to see in the dark. The disadvantage is that once the player steps into bright light they go alm ost com pletely blind.
