    ANG NATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE Ang National Hockey League o NHL ay itinatag sa Canada noong 1917. Ilang koponan ang sumali at nawala, ngunit anim na koponan ang nanatiling aktibo mula pa sa mga unang araw ng liga. Ang Boston Bruins, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings, Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers at Toronto Maple Leafs ay binansagan na “The Original Six”.
