VIERFARBEN SAXOPHON SAXOPHONE QUARTET

Whether early music, baroque, rococo, classical, jazz or new music: Vierfarben Saxophon cite music history not only as a loose sequence of epochs, but rather as a causal connection that becomes sensually tangible. The four musicians confidently master the balancing act between the musical worlds, moderating with ease and humor and spoiling not only the ears, but also the eyes of their audience with beautiful Baroque costumes.

Virtuoso passages alternate with sensual melodies: Especially for those who think that the saxophone is reserved exclusively for jazz, the music for example by W. A. Mozart is in the saxophone arrangement an incomparable experience. Swinging rhythms, enthralling melodies and an expressive interpretation – that's what you've never heard of George Gershwin, Charlie Parker, Michael Nyman or Philip Glass. Contemporary composers complete the repertoire of the Vierfarben Saxophon quartet.
