In our International Week 2021 we will focus on aesthetic PROGRAMME* learning processes such as learning outside the school and making expressive art and music. Sunday, 2 May Arrival to Esbjerg. Monday, 3 May This course is aimed for early childhood educators and We will meet each other and get to know one another. You teachers within pre- school, primary and lower will be introduced to the international week. During the secondary education. day we will work in our art room.

Tuesday, 4 May We will spend the day working with “Play Lab”. Moreover, we will look into other aspects of creative learning.

We will have a culture night and you will prepare local specialties from your own country and together we will enjoy each other’s culinary customs.

Wednesday, 5 May We will spend all day outside, experiencing the concept of Outdoor Learning. We promise you a fantastic day filled with exciting activities!

Thursday, 6 May We will spend the day visiting local kindergartens and schools. We will end the day with a "Hot Dog Night".

Friday, 7 May We will use the day summing up and evaluating the week.

2 Practical information

Please read this important practical information about International Week.

Please bring a local culinary specialty from your country or a recipe. So that you can cook some samples of your local food. Due to limited kitchen facilities we advise for the recipes to be simple.

Be prepared to make a short presentation of yourself in English, summarizing the aims and values of your school system at home.

Remember to bring appropriate clothes for outdoor as well as creative activities.

Place: This year’s International Week will take place on Campus Esbjerg and the city of Esbjerg and its surroundings will be the base of this week’s activities.

Accommodation: We will make sure that accommodation is booked for you. Please note that accommodation is not included in the participation fee.

Price: The participation fee for this week is 100 EURO which For further information please contact: must be paid in advance through bank transfer.
