BUCKS SHINE IN USA/CANADA U22 SERIES WCHA PRESEASON HONORS A trio of Buckeyes spent a week in Calgary in Redshirt junior Jincy Dunne was named to the August getting to practice and play with some Preseason All-WCHA Team, and sophomore of the best women’s hockey players in the world Emma Maltais received votes for the team, picked while getting to represent their countries in a by the WCHA coaches. Maltais notched the first Buckeye point of the series with an assist on the first goal of the game. Not to be outdone, Dunne picked up her first assist of the series after her shot was re- directed into the back of the net, tying the game at 1-1. The 2018 captain for the Buckeyes wasn’t finished as she scored the game winning goal as the U.S. team took the second game 3-1.

In the series finale, the U.S. team took an early 1-0 lead before Maltais scored to tie the game, 1-1, before eventually falling to the U.S. team 2-1.

Both Maltais and Dunne finished with one goal and one assist each for the series. Despite not tal- lying any points, Boyle had her share of ice time in Ohio State at St. Lawrence (10/27/2018) the series, including sharing a line with Dunne.
