THE CRUX OF THE ISSUE thoughts & reflections Perseverance. The people of Kenya are forced to persevere in the face of national conflict, while in America, conservatives must fight through political uncertainty. Here at Villanova we are also called on to persevere – whether through hard times on the basketball court or via our com- mitment to keeping campus safe. Perseverance in the face of adversity only makes us stronger. In this issue, we show why we and the greater community must always endure.

What-to-Do This Weekend Tip #7: Patrick Villanova Theater and Chinatown The Awkward Situations This upcoming weekend, there is more to do at Donkey Villanova than just the typical basketball game. For once, try something different. Come out to the Villanova Theater in Vasey Hall and support some of your Villanova students, as they present the great musical, “Baby.” The musical involves three couples, including two of which who are suprirsed with unexpected pregnancies. The third couple, in their thirties, has been endlessly trying for the same fortune of having a baby at some point. The two-hour play begins at 8:00 PM on Friday night. Admission for students is $7 and $10 for professors. On Sunday, if you have a great desire to get off of campus, you can go to Chinatown in Philly to get a taste of Chinese culture and celebrate the new year. The Lion Dance and Patrick is having an existential crisis... Parade will be celebrating the Chinese New but he isn’t so sure about nihilism. Year: the Year of the Rat. The celebrations will be taking place on Sundays the 17th and 24th at noon.
