The area is characterized by two winds, the first known as Pelèr Tramontana or North Wind blows the whole year from night till morning. The second one, from March to November, is called "Ora" and blows from South starting around noon till evening. This daily ritual that only a few places in the world can benefit from, is a phenomenon that occurs with the increasing intensity of solar radiation, being created by a higher thermal difference between the lake and the mountains. The Club structure, the organization, and above all the people, including all of the members of the Club, makes Arco Sailing Club a new concept of sailing centre focused on useful services not only for the athletes and the coaches, but as a benchmark for the organization of regattas, obtaining increasingly high prominence.
