According to preservationist John Jurayj, the building retains “nice cast iron storefront columns some of which are still exposed at the corner and nice second floor decorative wood windows that have diamond paned upper sashes.. should easily be included in district”

A rare apartment house designed by Morris Lapidus in City and in excellent condition. It continues the street wall of this district and retains the same height as many of the earlier apartment houses along the avenue. It windows were recently changed with sympathetic replacements, otherwise it is virtually intact.
