Excavations at Must Farm A talk by Dr Mark Knight, Archaeologist of the Year, 2017 Friday 16th March at 7:30pm Queen Victoria Hall, Oundle PE8 4EJ

These archaeologically important excavations near Whittlesey have revealed a deeply buried Bronze Age settlement, that had been destroyed by fire and collapsed into a river channel, resulting in an extraordinary level of preservation.

Nearby, archaeologists had previously found eight well-preserved log boats, some of which were virtually intact. They have been dated to around 1500 BC.

Tickets will be available from Olive Main (241206) in late January, or you can pay at the door.
