The «Make & Take» Lab was launched in 2019 so that novices could disco- ver and learn the basics of sewing and patchwork. Thanks to its huge succes, we will amplify the work space for our 2021 show to 100 m2. The creative hub will be located at the heart of our show space, right next to the Big Screen TV. Oriane, aka Big Red, and Carmen (participants in the French tv program «Cousu Main») will be our star animators, guiding you through the different steps needed to complete your pro- ject. 30 minute workshops will be held from Wednesday to Friday.

Her minimalist designs lend a modern twist to traditional quiltmaking patterns. With a background in sculpture and ceramics, her approach to has evolved over time, starting with the incorporation of small bits of cloth in her ceramic works. With time, this versatile, distressed, pre-dyed and endlessly malleable material has become one of the artist’s preferred mediums.
